I clearly remember my grandma and/or mama being extra-hesitant to let me spend the night at a friend’s house if they didn’t know the parents. Or if they did know the parents and they had roaches. Either way.

If there was ever a better reason to “borrow” my friend’s Netflix login, I don’t know it.
I am super excited for season 2 and sad that I had to wait for it to come to Netflix to watch it. I don’t have cable. Season One was so insightful, inspiring, and just fantastic to watch. Amazing actors, music, and storylines. I can’t wait.
Off-Topic #1:
(My turn) I want marry Halle Berry.
Halle Berry don’t sweat
Glad she did it before some flavorless opportunists tried to make something out of it (looking at you, Thug Kitchen), but mostly feeling like “Y tho ?”
(Side note: I had to file this story under Hot Tea, because the story is about Ice T. I’m lovably corny. Carry on.)
Woody Harrelson is almost 11 years older than Carroll O’Conner was he started portraying Archie (O’Conner was 47, Woody is 57)
To me it’s more mind blowing to me that Marisa Tomei is older than Jean Stapleton was when she started playing Edith.
I’m SO excited for this...really curious which episodes they chose to recreate (and why)
I’m amazed that Norman Lear is still out there making waves on T.V.
Take my money.
Ms. Megan, as my grandfather would have said, is one helluva a grown ass woman, the kind of woman they invented vitamins for.
Gotta love how TMZ has to label erryone! How else would we know Nipsey from John from Khaled?!
My god I remember doing the If moves in my grandmother’s back room, tripping over coffee table and breaking a chair. Memories.
I myself was thinking about a re-enactment to a certain part of “Any Time,Any Place”...but this a family website,so I’mma hold my mule.
Huh. Why didn’t I know that about you. Chicagoan too (who for married age reasons now lives in Boston). Robert Taylor, Morgan Park, And finally Edgewater. Lived there for 40-plus years. And for that reason I think THIS might be the Chicago series I’ve been waiting for. No offense to the others, but this looks more…
This kinda reminds me of Black Jesus...without Black Jesus.
Chicago native here (West suburbs, Maywood, to be exact) and I agree with the other natives, man, we ain’t eating that deep dish mess on the regular (well I didn’t when I ate pizza on the regular), Le Bleh.
