Dang! I have seen the first three episodes. It’s not an Emmy winner but I didn’t think it was terrible. I think Jay Pharaoh can actually act.

Now I didn’t think about it in those terms. That’s why it’s always good to listen.
That is what I suspected. I wonder how Professor Marston’s money is divided. Is it an equal distribution or does it favor the so-called “legitimate” kids?
Let’s dialogue. I can see both sides.
So say a film was made in 1948 then the narrative would have been that the Marstons took Olive in after her husband who fathered her children passed. My point is the truth is murky. Them staying together sways me.
Which one of his children is speaking here? One by Elizabeth or one by Olive? It doesn’t say.
Do we know that it’s untrue? Because such lifestyles were not embraced, they were not discussed freely. We do know that all three of them lived together and that the two women continued to live together after Marston passed in 1947 until Olive passed in 1985. That’s pretty huge. Reportedly it was not revealed that…
Did you watch the video? I actually love how passionate Jada is about most things in life she chooses to comment on or tackle.
That’s their story and they are sticking to it.
Ouch!
Can’t argue about the soundtrack. It was fire. Still love UPTOWN Anthem! That’s a Hank Shocklee conversation.
Trust me I feel the frustration.
I agree. She does hip-hop proud.
Thank you for reading.
Why does it have to be shade? Could just be truth.
That’s the Catch 22. Why do we have a concept of a rich neighborhood and a poor neighborhood? Are we just giving up on have diversified communities? Also I don’t believe in a so-called poor area having to have bad schools. There are perhaps small businesses that are suited for a demo with 27K. What is being done now…
I think you are not considering that people don’t want to be displaced. As long as an area stands to remain significantly Black in population, investment is a problem. If there is an intention that white middle class people will move into the area, then investment pours in. Most people want the neighborhood to improve…
Yetide Badaki is pretty good. Someone spoke of her non-verbal acting and I agree that she does a lot even when she does not speak.
The visual is truly amazing! I expect them to win awards for it. Yes we will have to see how we feel by the end of the season. So far, I’m good.
Thanks for weighing in!
