Down this far? Not really. This place I live is more pink collar/ support staff type people. And unfortunately, even these office clerk positions are starting to go away. Not that they are not needed, mind you; so much as so many employers are not willing to pay for adequate support staff.

It is VERY tight. Because I am a government drone (hence the formerly middle-class job), I don’t feel it as much as others, but it’s also the same reason that my son (24) is looking to move out of state. Even with a college degree, not a lot of opportunity.

Well, my son is an adult (24), and will be moving out of state soon to hopefully, find a job and housing in another state. So soon-ish, there will only be myself and my daughter.
