Beat strawmen on your own time. I never said Norwood’s GOP leanings were unknown, I said they were not enough to make her unpalatable to white democrats, and in Norwood’s own words she was “Not” a Republican

Not really. Norwood had managed to keep the Republican thing “vague” for 20 years, and clearly it wasn’t enough to keep many white Democrats and progressives for voting for her anyway. However what she DID bring out was the Buckhead Republicans who usually skip these local races because they don’t think they have a

That line is intentional. The mayor of Atlanta runs the metropolitan area. The mayor of Atlanta runs the airport, which is the busiest in the United States. The mayor of Atlanta has alot more power over a much larger population than the technical population of the city

The race will be close. But when more than half of the primary opponents turn around and endorse one candidate - That’s a sign that things could be leaning in one candidate’s favor.

You don’t read very well, so I’m not sure how much clarity you’re going to get out of my response but here goes.....

I didn’t comment one way or another about whether the U.S. should have invaded (ahem launched a bombing campaign) against Libya. I only discuss how those actions led to the current humanitarian crisis. Slight push back here as well. Qadaffi may not have been a good guy, most non-Democratic dictators aren’t but that’s

See, this is what I was referring to. Qadaffi was a black nationalist hero for many people, despite his human rights abuses. His support against anti-colonialism can’t be ignored just because it doesn’t fit our national narrative.

There are many many defenders of Qadaffi’s regime around the world (including some on this message board) that most American media did not cover. It’s similar to Putin, whom most American’s see as a dictator but he had defenders that claim he provides stability and pride to a nation that was on it’s heels for much of

I’m not trying to deter anybody, just know you’re going to sit down for over 90 minutes of smudgy trash

Hey I enjoyed Thor, and even parts of Kingsman: 2 - I just really think this movie was bad, I never imagined I would leave the theater wanting my money back, even when it was free !

Exactly the end kind of pops up like —— Wait THAT’S what was about to happen? I wonder if the plan is to do a movie version of the “Seige” storyline, which I thought was reminiscent of the “New Krypton” story as well

Read my review of Spiderman : Homecoming. I don’t like window-dressing diversity. I want characters who are organically integrated into the story. Giving the white guy an Asian friend and brown girls as love interests is the kind of sloppy post-hoc diversity that I’m tired of as a fan and a consumer. Further, they

She is really quite amazing in the film. Reminded me of a mystical version of Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica. Was very happy to see they didn’t put her and Thor together, it would’ve diminished her character arc.

He’s really got fantastic timing. He was good in the “Vacation” re-make a few years ago too. He was wasted in the terrible Ghostbusters remake. Apparently he’s good for 80's nostalgia, including this movie.

I strongly agree. I really don’t like the Guardians movies. I loved Pratt as the goofy guy on Parks and Rec but as the catch all “cocky white guy” savior in Guardians and Jurassic Park he’s insufferable.

I believe survey says “Nah”

That’s what we strive for 👍🏾

It’s called sarcasm

Most people don’t know. That, is one of the problems. Especially when you consider that Kaepernick said if he was re-signed he would no longer protest on the field.
