You need to aim better with your selective outrage. I encourage anybody who wants to protest to do it, anybody who doesn’t want to can keep watching. I don’t think anybody boycotting football who happens to say....wear sneakers, or watch porn is a hypocrite. Folks have a right to choose their moral outrage.

The relationship between movies and comics is tricky. Movie releases seem to bring renewed interest in trade paperbacks, like Deadpool books flew off the shelves after the movie last year, but it’s not clear that a trailer alone would be able to do that.
