Does it involve cooking oil? Because, if so, I might stick with the oven. Frying chicken (while delicious) is a pain to clean up. This method is just slow, but effective and non-messy.

Yeah, I have a cast iron pan and it’s super easy to maintain, I just have weak little arms that struggle with the pan, also it wasn’t large enough, alas, for the full recipe. Why I didn’t just halve it, I’ll never know!
