I never recovered from Kanye casting Selita Ebanks as a Cosmic Chicken.

Honestly, I think it could have done everything he wanted it to do and not be enough. Kanye has always been one where it doesn’t matter, he wants more, more, more. Like many, many artists of all mediums, the ‘All artists are attention whores’ I heard one visual artist tell me seems to strike HARD with Kanye.

He didn’t get any of those white accolades because this was in the shadow of interrupting white girl Taylor Swift at the MTV Awards. “Runaway” was supposed to be his apology, and people liked it, but the “right” people didn’t like it enough.

Strong list. I’d only take exception to “52. Essential Workers.” Too often, that translates to, “expendable minority who has to perform risky work so white people can stay safe at home.”

Speaking of shoes, I’m contemplating purchasing either tap or ballet shoes at some point in the future. Now, I figure tap is probably more comfortable for running, should that prove necessary, but ballet is probably better for going over a fence; neither seems like it would appreciate freshly laid sod.

I have been ridic happy with Brooks running shoes, particularly as a woman large of foot. Support matters!

Take a look at Altras. They’re running and hiking shoes, so they’re generally not very attractive, but if you’ve got the wide forefoot, like I do, the comfort more than makes up for it.

Not gonna lie, I don’t get the whole sneaker heads thing.  I just have one decent pair of cons, and some boots and I’m good.

  I just got a 150ml bottle of matte black acrylic paint that is supposed to be the closest they can get to Vantablack.  I’m looking forward to painting lots of miniatures with it.
