While many Los Angeles residents are still dealing with the effects of the wildfires, Kid Cudi has to deal with an intruder who not only burglarized his mansion but also made himself at home in it. Fortunately for him, he wasn’t there to witness it.
On Wednesday, a man was arrested by police after he broke into Cudi’s Los Angeles and was caught on the “Erase Me” rapper’s security system. Before authorities took him in, this unidentified man not only burglarized the home but also helped himself to Cudi’s kitchen, used his bathroom, and even cleaned himself up in the shower, according to TMZ.
When this man was discovered on the security system, he was shirtless, enjoying a meal in Cudi’s kitchen.
Shortly after he was arrested the man, who police suspect to be homeless, was charged with felony burglary and theft of utilities. His bail is currently set at $150,000, according to TMZ.
Cudi wasn’t near his home because, like many other LA residents, he was forced to evacuate due to the dangers of the Southern California wildfires.
On his Instagram story, he wrote, “Hey guys, had to evacuate my crib. I’m safe w my loved ones dogs are safe. For all the folks who lost their homes, people thta are dealing with this, my heart hurts for you and I’m praying for us all and I send All my love to you and yours. If you have to evacuate, get out immediately. Don’t hesitate. Be safe L.A. Love you guys.”
This isn’t the first time Cudi’s home was almost destroyed.
If you recall, Cassie Ventura accused her ex, Sean “Diddy” Combs, of being responsible for Cudi’s car blowing up in his driveway in February 2012.
Ventura accused Diddy of wanting “revenge” on the rapper for ruining their relationship at the time.
