If we’re being generous, Coachella is something close to a literal approximation of hell: It’s really hot, there are flower crowns everywhere, and a share of your ticket price could indirectly be headed to anti-LGBTQ groups. The music’s cool, though! Luckily, the festival will again offer a way for those who stayed home to tune in to the can’t-miss sets (read: Beyoncé) when the festival kicks off this weekend in Indio, Calif.
Queen Bey’s headlining Saturday night, and you’ll be able to stream right from your couch, along with sets from the Weeknd, Migos, Tyler the Creator, Brockhampton, Kamaiyah and many more.
Under any circumstances, Beyoncé’s first time headlining Coachella would be a big deal, but this being her first proper set since having the twins and canceling last year’s appearance raises the stakes even higher than usual. Keep tabs on Coachella’s YouTube page for information about when to stream.
Even if you can’t make it out to the festival in person—which, again, makes you one of the lucky ones—consider the Beyoncé stream as a proper sneak peek of her On the Run II Tour this summer with Jay-Z. I can’t promise you’ll be able to get within a quarter-mile of the stage in Indio, but stadiums all but guarantee that you can see the stage through binoculars ... and you likely won’t have to scorch yourself to death, either.
