A Memphis mother has been arrested and charged, according to Action News 5, with child neglect after she was accused of posting videos to social media that show her 5-year-old daughter waxing the bodies of naked adults.

The woman has been identified as 30-year-old Jasmine Moss. She is currently in police custody in Shelby County, Tenn. Additionally, the Memphis Police Department confirmed that Moss was charged with child neglect and that a bond has not been determined.

Last week, Moss allegedly posted videos on social media to showcase her hair removal business. On Wednesday, February 15, authorities received numerous complaints about social media posts showing upsetting images involving a young child.

The reported images were shared via Moss’ Instagram account. Police stated that three images posted by Moss show her five-year-old daughter applying hot wax to the nude pubic area of adults.

“The Memphis Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has been made aware of images that are viral on social media of a minor performing a wax on a nude female. A joint investigation is underway by MPD and the Department of Children’s Services,” the Department said.

Moss was then arrested on Tuesday, police confirmed. Her hair removal business is reportedly located in her Memphis home. In one of her posts, Moss stated that that her daughter waxed 24 clients over an eight hour time span. In Tennessee, the legal age is 16 in order to get hours to obtain an esthetician license.
