Grammy Award-winning musician Wyclef Jean is making it known that he will run for president of his home country, Haiti. Jean, who has been a strong advocate of Haiti, even before the earthquake, has decided to take a stronger role in helping rebuild the earthquake-ravaged country. The singer says that he knew he would have to "take the next step" after delivering corpses to morgues. During the recovery efforts, Jean came under fire for the handling of his Haitian music charity Yele Haiti. He is expected to make an official announcement in the next few days. Some people are wondering why he would want to be president of Haiti. To that we say, "Why not?"
