Wiz Khalifa dropped by Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast on Wednesday to talk about, among other things, his smoking habits.
Cooper said Khalifa, who smoked through their interview, was the first to light up in her new studio – only fitting for someone who has his own brand of weed, Khalifa Kush.
The “Black and Yellow” rapper, who is rarely seen without a joint in his hand, told Cooper that he’s been waking and baking since high school. And he admitted that high is his usual state of mind.
“I’m pretty stoned throughout the day. So you can tell by my demeanor,” he said. “And if you can’t tell by just seeing me or being around me, you’ll smell it for sure.”
And when Cooper asked Khalifa if he’s ever showed up high at his son’s school, he was unapologetic, revealing that he has no plans of putting out his ganja just because he has to go to the principal’s office. Wiz shares custody of 10-year-old Sebastian with his ex-wife Amber Rose.
“Hell yeah. I’m pulling up stoned. They expect it,” Khalifa said. “They know what’s up. It’s not like back in the day [where] you’re considered a bad parent if you smoke weed. I’m pretty sure my son smells like weed. I don’t know because I can’t smell it, but I’m pretty sure he smells like pot.”
While some jaws may be dropping at his statement, should we really expect anything less from a person who has made smoking his whole persona? He no doubt has been influenced by the grandfather of weed, Snoop Dogg. But one thing’s for sure, Wiz Khalifa has no plans on changing who he is any time soon.
“Why would I have to change who I am or act like I’m not that just for these places that I’m going to go? That’s not how I’m going to be living my life ever. Hell no,” he said.
