A woman has been formally charged with murder for shooting another woman at a Iron Bowl party in Hoover, Ala., on Saturday, WBRC reports.

The 28-year-old suspect, Adrian Laroze Briskey, allegedly shot Michelle Lacette Shepherd, 36, with a small handgun in a parking lot after what was allegedly an argument over Auburn's last-second victory over long-time rival Alabama. The game, which held national championship implications, may have been what sparked the confrontation. According to witnesses' reports, Shepherd was shot three times. The two women reportedly had not known one another before the incident.

Shepherd died in the parking lot, and Briskey was immediately taken into custody. She is currently being held on a $75,000 bond.

According to WBRC, Shepherd’s friends said that she was a neutral Iron Bowl fan. She had three small children, ages 8, 6 and 4.
