Tina Knowles — mother to music icons Beyoncé, Solange and “bonus daughter” Kelly Rowland — is about to open up like never before about her life and her role as a musical matriarch in a new memoir.

The cover of the book, aptly titled “Matriarch,” was revealed exclusively on Tuesday morning’s episode of “CBS Mornings” by Gayle King. In a followup post to Instagram, Knowles expressed her excitement over her upcoming endeavor, saying in part:

“Literally writing this book has been like giving birth . I have so many stories in me.! This book has made me laugh. It made me cry. It’s made me depressed. It’s made me incredibly happy, sometimes so proud., sometimes humiliated. Sometimes so happy sometimes so angry.! Yes my life has been a roller coaster of ups and downs, but thru it all my faith in God has gotten me through every thing in my life! God has given me the tools for every unexpected twist and turn.”

Knowles went on to share that the last two years in writing the book has been her “therapy”and “a huge part of my healing journey.” She also said that through writing the book she was finally able to learn who she truly was and hopes “Matriarch” will help others not make some of the same mistakes she did.

In a separate post to Instagram sharing the news, Beyoncé praised her mother for completing this book and hilariously shared a warning for her mother not to open her mouth and share all their business in the book:

“I’m so happy for you to share some of the stories that shaped you into who you are. To know you is to love you. But please don’t spill too much Mama Tea,” she wrote.

With that being said, we think it’s safe to assume that “Mama Tea” will be spilling some secrets and details about her famous family. Will there be more funny stories about Bey’s somewhat “diva” behavior? Or maybe an inside scoop on granddaughter Blue Ivy’s next creative endeavors and dreams? Whatever it is, we can’t wait to see what’s in store.
