Teedra Moses is willing to go to war over her praise of disgraced R&B singer R. Kelly.
Last week, during an appearance on Tank and J. Valentine’s “R&B Money Podcast,” Moses was asked to pick the best five R&B songs of all time. One of her selections was Kelly’s “The Greatest Sex,” from his 2000 album, “TP-2.com.”
When describing the song, she says, “You can close your eyes and see everything he’s saying.”
She later describes Kelly as “one of the greatest songwriters to ever live.”

Over the weekend, a user on social media caught wind of what Moses said on the podcast episode and had some harsh criticism of the veteran R&B singer, writing in a post on X, “ok i did watch #rnbmoneypodcast with @TeedraMoses and i sincerely would like to say f**k her. ummmm. idk how many times we have to REPEAT that Robert Kelly was writing songs about having sex with TEENAGERS & the reason why its so visual is bc its teaching kids how to f**k.
The user later added, “its not like other abusers and people keep telling y’all that and you wanna be edgy or whatever and you’re ignorant. NO OTHER PERSON WAS MAKING SO MUCH ART ABOUT SEX WITH KIDS LIKE WHAT THE F**K IS NOT CLICKING. HIS ART IS ABOUT HIS ABUSE.”
On Monday, Moses saw what this person said about her and responded viciously, writing on X, “F**k u u ugly b***h and I ain’t blocking you cuz I got time in the new yr to bless u with these words!!! You don’t know me! But those that do know what I’m about. Go play with ya support dog b***h don’t play with me! Coming on this app w dat bullshit. I will slap piss from u!!”
But her clapback did not end there. In the comments, someone wrote, “One thing about you old black b*****s is yall gone ride for that nasty predator.”
Moses wrote in response, “One thing about an uninformed person speaking on some shit they have no clue about they will always be dumb!”
Although Moses has stopped arguing with fans on X, many have continued to criticize her, questioning why she would praise such a controversial figure.
One person on X wrote, “crashing out over r. kelly?”
Another person added, “Shit like this makes me think people are genuinely stupid. Teedra’s sound/music is making a full resurgence over on tiktok rn. Got a whole song going viral. And yet she’s so committed to letting people know she supports a rapists that she’s willing to crash land…in a tweet.”
Meanwhile, Kelly is still sitting in a federal prison, serving his 50-year sentence.
