Kodak Black doing or saying crazy things is not out of the ordinary. Remember, this is the same guy who has been arrested on drug charges a multitude of times and has said that he doesn’t “like black girls like that.”
So anything the Florida rapper does should not shock anyone.
On Wednesday, just minutes after the 26-year-old rapper was released from Broward County Jail in Florida on time served by the judge, a local news crew approached him. Instead of responding politely, Black went berserk, throwing rocks at the journalist before threatening to punch them.
Ironically, Black can also be heard yelling, “Call the cops! Call the cops!” before telling the journalists that he has been “hibernating” and “chillin’.”
Bryan Murphy and Rosh Lowe of WPLG Local 10 were on the other side of the camera.
One of them can be heard saying on the video, “Don’t throw anything at our camera,” “I’m not going to be back down to you Kodak” and “Don’t threaten to punch me again. You understand what I’m saying. You want me to call the cops on you now Kodak?!”
In response, Kodak simply rapped some lyrics as he walked to a car that drove him away.
According to WPLG Local 10, Murphy was hit in the ribs by some of the rocks Black threw but did not sustain any serious injuries.
Black was initially locked up after an officer approached a vehicle, found the 26-year-old rapper sleeping in the driver’s seat and smelled cannabis coming from the car.
When asked by authorities if there was anything illegal in the car, Black said there was only weed. But the officer noticed that the “ZEZE” rapper’s mouth was full of “white powder” and arrested him.
The “white powder” later tested positive for cocaine. As a result, Black was arrested on multiple drug charges (again), including possession of cocaine, tampering with physical evidence and improper parking.
