First lady Michelle Obama is turning 50 on Jan. 17, and the White House plans to hold—wait for it, yes—a dance party!
The party, to be held the following day, will be called, “Snacks & Sips & Dancing & Dessert,” according to Politico, which cites a report at the Chicago Tribune.
Save-the-date emails are being sent out, along with instructions for guests to “wear comfortable shoes, eat before you come and practice your dance moves,” the Tribune said.
No word yet on the names on the guest list or entertainment.
In 2011 President Barack Obama celebrated his 50th birthday with a barbecue in the Rose Garden, with friends, lawmakers, donors and celebrities joining the festivities, the report shows.
