When a Deadbeat Dad Attacks a College Grad: Joe Walsh Blew His Racist Dog Whistle on Marshawn Lynch and Twitter Wasn’t Having It

There are some people who become assholes over time, and then there are some people who are just born this way. Joe Walsh was born this way; it’s his gift. I imagine baby Joe Walsh, like an asshole idiot savant, chastising his nanny over the consistency of his breast milk. I imagine teen Joe Walsh leading the charge for fewer extracurricular activities and more homework. I imagine adult Joe Walsh being just who he’s become.

So it shocks no one that asshole Joe Walsh picked up his social media megaphone to spout race-based, stereotypical, hate-filled dribble at the American gift that is Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch.

Here’s what asshole Joe Walsh tweeted:

What’s racist here? Well, you already know, but if you’re a Walsh fan who is also an asshole, then let me point it out: It’s the “uneducated” portion of his missive. What about Marshawn Lynch says he’s uneducated? Is it his degree from the University of California, Berkeley? Is it his financial savvy that allows the famed running back to counsel other NFL players on how to handle their money? Is it the same Marshawn Lynch who’s been taking graduate courses even though he’s going to be a millionaire until he leaves this earth? Or is it because he’s black and Joe Walsh is an asshole, and when you mix a black guy with an asshole like Joe Walsh, well, you end up with a racist tweet?

But Twitter was not here for asshole Joe Walsh’s shenanigans, so it dug in and let him have it. See, old asshole Joe Walsh is also a deadbeat dad who reportedly owed over $100,000 in child support payments and went to court to try to get his payments reduced, noting that since he left Congress (he’s a one-term representative from Illinois), just being a regular asshole and not a congressional asshole wasn’t paying as well.
