A disturbing video of a teen fighting for his life inside a hospital room has gone viral, thanks to his family claims that the medical staff abandoned their oaths to save the boy’s life in a sick plot to... well, just read this.
The 26-minute Facebook live recording from August 1 shows 19-year-old Terrance Howard, a college football player, laying lifeless on a hospital bed. The family told KPRC 2 News he was on his way to the University of Alabama to finish packing his things for his transfer to North Carolina Central University. However, while driving on I-85 near Salisbury, N.C. he was caught in a storm and wound up in a minor crash.
When Howard got out of the car to check on the passengers of the other vehicle, he was struck by another passing vehicle, his family says. As a result, he suffered massive brain trauma and was placed on a ventilator. When Howard was brought to the hospital, it took time for his family to be contacted because he arrived with no identification, per KHOU.
The Horrifying Footage
In the video, his father, Bishop Anthony Allen, stood over him, doing CPR compressions as two women identified as Howard’s sister and mother paced about the room. The medical machine beeped occasionally as the group encouraged Howard to breathe and prayed for God’s help.
Howard’s mother claimed in the video that a staffer administered fentanyl and other unknown drugs to Howard before placing him on a breathing tube. She stated on his medical documents that he was listed as a 26-year-old despite being just 19. She then went on to claim that a doctor she spoke to wanted to “kill my son because they want his organs.”
Howard’s mother also accused the medical staff of laughing at her and refusing their requests for help. Howard’s sister then accused the doctors of not properly treating her brother before talks of organ donating.
Police Intervention
At some point in the video, a group of officers entered the room and accused the family of trespassing, ordering them to leave the premises. Allen asked for each of the officers’ names and continued recording as they exited the room. Allen insisted in the video that his son was breathing on his own and had a heartbeat visible on the monitor at the moment they were forced out.
However, the family’s demands for the removal of the breathing tube were refused. One officer is heard talking about “cleaning the body,” suggesting Howard was already deceased.
“They let my son die. ‘Wake up for em, son.’ They put one cut on him, God, it’s gon’ be a problem,” Allen says in the video, referring to the alleged organ harvest scheme.
That evening, Howard was pronounced dead. Allen told News One he believes the hospital took his son off life support against the family’s wishes. Allen promised in the video to take legal action. According to the family’s GoFundMe, they are having Howard’s body transferred to Houston for an independent autopsy.
Howard graduated from Ridge Point High School in Missouri City in 2022 where he was recognized as a “shining star and dedicated” football player. He was a walk-on at University of Alabama before transferring to the NCCU upon the reward of a full scholarship.
