Cardi B is not having it after a prank caller told CPS that her children were in danger. The “I Like It” rapper hopped on Instagram Live to clap back after the incident, calling the prank “f-ked up.”
As Page Six reported, Cardi spoke directly to the camera in the video, saying, “So I wanna make this very f**king clear and I can’t even breathe right now.” She continued, “Motherf***ers have taken shit too f**king far when you mess with my f**king kids.”
She went on to say that she swears she is going to “get to the bottom” of the prank, saying that CPS showed up to her house in the night. “For the Child Protective Services to come to my f**king house,” she added. “Not my house, my gated mansion at 11 p.m. while my children are sleeping because there’s an anonymous call that there been going on that, that my kids have been getting abused and beaten. Are you f**king dumb?”
She continued to say that pranks have just gotten “too far” and that people think a situation like this is “funny” when it’s not. Cardi then revealed that her and her family are the “only colored people” in her neighborhood. She even promised that she is gonna not only sue the prank caller, but CPS for coming to her house.
“Play with my motherhood or with my ex-husband’s fatherhood,” Cardi continued, discussing her ex-husband Offset. As The Root reported, the two have been in a pretty public back and forth as they separate for what seems to be the final time, but clearly the rappers draw a line in the sand when it comes to their children.
The two share a daughter Kulture, 6, and a son Wave, 3, and Cardi is currently expecting her third child.
“We don’t play that s–t,” she said, adding that she has never hit her children. “My kids live great. My kids have never been touched, never gotten hit no matter how annoying they are...I never hit my kids.”
