Some of us do odd or side jobs to earn a little extra cash, but they can sometimes lead to some once-in-a-lifetime stories to tell.

Take Chrishalea Farley, a 39-year-old Black woman who was going about her day delivering orders as an Instacart driver. One afternoon, she was requested to deliver an order to a place where most people hope never to end up: state prison.

In a video posted to her TikTok, Farley detailed the entire incident. She’s since received more than 590,000 views on the social media platform.

“Y’all I done seen it all. This man from prison done ordered him a whole platter of wings and them folks told me to turn right back around because he can not have this,” said Farley.

She displays the entire platter of food included in his order, which also included a side of potato wedges. Although Farley wasn’t able to deliver the food, she took the whole experience pretty lightly, finding the encounter amusing.

She later said, “I don’t know what ya’ll folks in Jackson (Georgia) be doing but y’all be trippin’...Look y’all I just left the prison, they told me to turn it back around and donate it to somebody else.”

The workers at Georgia Diagnostic and Classification State Prison did not know she’d be donating the food to herself, later saying in the TikTok video, “God may not come when you want him, but he’s right on time cause guess what me and my kids are eating for dinner tonight. Some wings and some potato wedges!”

Essentially, Farley and her family were paid $15.66 to eat a platter of wings. Sounds like a good deal.
