It looks like things may finally be on the up and up when it comes to Wendy Williams and her health—and fans all over are eagerly waiting in anticipation.
Thanks to newly released footage of the former eponymous daytime talk show host on Thursday showing her alert and looking good , it seems as if negative reports about her health and wellbeing may be on the decline.
In it, Williams can be seen sitting alongside her sister and father at the college graduation ceremony for her son Kevin Hunter Jr. from Florida International University (FIU) down in Miami. Dressed in a black, sequined dress, she politely declines a piece of gum from her sister Wanda before looking on calmly towards the stage area. In other newly released photos obtained by The Sun, Williams can be seen dressed in the same outfit driving along in a mobility scooter with her father in tow.
Once the videos and photos began circulating, many fans took to social media to express their excitement over seeing their beloved TV personality out and about and in good spirits.
“She’s looking good. Putting on some weight and everything. Being around her family was the best thing that could happen to her,” wrote on user on X/Twitter.
“She’s looking much better than she has been. I hope she’s doing well,” said another.
“She looks very much aware and her face looks more at peace and Normal if that makes sense!” another wrote.
“So happy to see the legend out and about,” one other wrote, adding one of Williams’ famous viral GIFs.
As previously reported by The Root, this marks the second time in one week that Williams has been spotted out in public since negative reports of her being “cognitively impaired, permanently disabled, and incapacitated” threw everyone in a tizzy back in Nov. Hopefully, this signifies a return of sorts for Williams so that she can get back to being in optimal health.
