We May Not Know God’s Plan, but Drake Reportedly Plans to Take a $10M Residency in Vegas

Drake may be taking his hotline bling to the gambling capital of the country —Las Vegas.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the “Nice for What” sing-song rapper performed a 30-minute set in Sin City and hinted at his plans to set up shop to the exuberant crowd.

“Vegas! When I came back, I thought it’d be back at T-Mobile Arena or some shit,” he said. “But I’ll be back here at XS all year. You’ll have a lotta chances to see me.”

Additionally, the Scorpion artist recently posted a pic on Instagram with the caption, “New home.”

The pic appeared to be at Wynn’s XS Nightclub in Vegas, the very place where he’s reportedly signed a multi-year residency deal, according to Forbes.

With a Vegas residency, he’ll be joining the likes of Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, and most recently, Jennifer Lopez. And everyone in music knows there’s beaucoup coin to be made via residencies.

Sources to the Blast initially reported that the deal is worth over $10 million for ten shows. One million bucks per show.
