Friendly disclaimer: This will likely shave about two hours off your productivity time if you watch this at work. It is addictive and will leave you ridden with nostalgia—the good kind.

You may not know this, but Ms. Lauryn Hill shot a minidocumentary about her tour stop in Japan while she was promoting The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill in 1999. Check out the video below.

If nothing else, it's a reminder of the essence of Ms. Lauryn Hill. Her band was a breathing organism that blended so seamlessly with her unique, sultry voice. And we see the magical command she had over her eclectic band and the way she guided her backup singers during rehearsals.

She's seen with her children Zion and Selah, who were both young at the time. She's also seen with her ex-partner Rohan Marley. She performs songs from Miseducation and a few joints from her time with the Fugees.
