A worker at Ob/Gyn & Midwife Associates in East Point, Ga., was delightfully surprised when she went to check on a first-time mom, who was told to do squats in preparation for delivery.
Instead of squats, the mom was inching her way down the hall at Georgia Hospital last week doing the Nae Nae to Silentó’s “Watch Me,” even though she was 6 centimeters dilated.
“I went looking for my patient to see how she was doing with her squatting. This is what I found in between contractions. Get that baby down mommy!” a member of the group wrote in a Facebook post that has garnered nearly 7,000 likes and 698,363 views.
The mom delivered a 9-pound, 6-1/2-ounce baby girl several hours later on Sept. 29, the posts says.
"See keeping it moving helps and a support group," the Facebook commenter said.
