We’ve spent a big chunk of the year worried about the health of Wendy Williams. Amid a highly-publicized back-and-forth between her guardian and family, as well as reports that she’s battling dementia, fans are wondering what’s really going on with the former talk show host. Well, a clip from a recent family outing shows glimpses of the fiery media personality we all know.
In a video from the “We In Miami” podcast, Williams is seen yelling at her team, taking them to task for not handling things properly. As they were leaving a graduation dinner in Miami for her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., her team allegedly left her mobility scooter in the street, something she definitely wasn’t happy about.
“Then both of you walked away leaving my s**t in the middle of the street like this,” she said. “Just get the car please.”
When the podcast’s host Stunt Lifestyle her asked what happened, Williams replied, “They got the wrong car, so I knocked on the door and it was the totally wrong car. They left my scooter as they walked over there. Leaving my most precious, most…this cost a f**ing mint.”
She continued to go at it with her team, telling them exactly how she wanted them to do their job.
“Get the car over here, not over there, so I can go easily into the street for the car,” she said. “They supposed to be ordering the car, that’s what you’re supposed to be doing.”
She explained that this is what’s required of the people on her team.
“They wanna work for me, that’s what they’re supposed to be doing,” Williams added. “They’re making money from me, get the goddamn car.”
Obviously, this wasn’t an ideal situation for anyone, but it certainly proves that the Wendy Williams fans loved on her talk show is still out here getting spicy when she needs to.
Meanwhile, Hunter Jr. took to Instagram to offer an update on his mother’s status. While responding to an Instagram post where Charlamagne Tha God congratulated him on his graduation, Hunter Jr. explained that Williams is “sober and wants to come home.” He added: “We’re fighting to make that happen because isolation is killing her faster than anything else.”
Throughout 2024, we’ve heard a lot of reports on Wendy Williams’ status. It feels like the more we hear, the less we actually know. This is a story that will probably continue to make headlines into 2025.
