Jennifer Hudson's performance of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" Sunday night at the Grammys didn't leave a dry eye in the building or among the television audience.
The singer, who performed Houston's biggest hit right after the show's "In Memoriam" section, sang the last words, "Whitney, we love you," to a standing ovation.
She performed in a sleek black gown with only a piano behind her as a montage of music-industry figures who died in the past year flashed on the screen behind her.
