Now Cherry is making it his mission to normalize natural hair and black fatherhood in the animated world with his latest project, “Hair Love.” The animated short film, which has a Kickstarter campaign, will explore the first time a father styles his daughter’s natural hair and the hilarity that ensues—and it’s gotten everyone’s attention.
