One thing that’s guaranteed to happen when you run into a Karen is that they are going to overreact over the smallest inconvenience. Just look at this white woman in Connecticut who lost her cool after a Black child mistakenly sat in her reserved seat during a screening of “Despicable Me 4.”

Thankfully, the entire interaction, which allegedly took place at Cinemark Buckland Hill in Manchester, was caught on video.

In a video posted to TikTok by Erin Walton, a Black woman, the unnamed Karen is seen lashing out at Walton and her son. In an attempt to get her away, Walton is seen telling the Karen not to touch her or her phone.

Midway through the video, a young boy enters the video to de-escalate the situation. He appears to be the son of the white woman, as he says, “C’mon mom,” multiple times.

Walton then goes to her son to check his ticket and confirm that they are in the wrong seats. She then tells the Karen, “That’s all it takes is some decorum.”

The two continue to argue as Walton and her son move to a different seat in the theater.

Once Walton gets her son in a different seat, she hears the white woman sarcastically say, “Wonderful family.” This leads to both of them taking their argument outside the theater, where Walton is seen asking to speak with a manager so she can get the police involved.

In a follow-up video, Walton is seen showing the police officers at the Theater and adds that Karen was cited for disorderly conduct and public disturbance.
