Before then-President Bill Clinton told the nation that he “did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. [Monica] Lewinsky,” then-Supreme Court Justice nominee Clarence Thomas told a congressional confirmation committee: “I deny every allegation against me today that suggested that I, in any way, ever, harassed Anita Hill.
“From my standpoint, it’s a high-tech lynching,” Thomas finished.
The sexual assault allegations leveled against Thomas by Hill are being portrayed in the HBO movie Confirmation. Kerry Washington plays Hill and Wendell Pierce plays Thomas. Check out the trailer below.
