When will the world give Drake a break? Not only does the biggest song in the world happen to be a diss track about him, but now he can’t enjoy peace in his own home.
On Tuesday, the Toronto artist shared a video on his social media, showing him trying to maneuver through disgusting brown water that was flooding his mansion. On the video, he wrote a caption, “This better be espresso Martini.”
Unsurprisingly, social media had fun at the rapper’s expense (like they have been all year) and used the opportunity to share some amusing posts on X.
One user wrote, “If we were in biblical times drake would think he’s cursed.”
Another person commented, “Drake is having the worst year of his entire life.”
In maybe the funniest post relating to this topic, one person said, “Kendrick got all of la to pee at his front door.”
While everyone is making fun of the 6 God, all of Toronto has been experiencing severe flooding and power outages. According to BBC, nearly four inches of rain fell on the city, surpassing a record that was set nearly 100 years ago in 1941.
Although this may be the most disgusting inconvenience Drake has had to deal with in his home, it’s not the most dangerous. In May, a security guard was shot out of his mansion and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It happened just outside the gates of the home in his Bridle Path neighborhood.
Days later, an unidentified trespasser attempted to break into the property and got into an altercation with security before local authorities apprehended him and took him to the hospital.
This all occurred just days after he and Kendrick Lamar exchanged several diss tracks in a matter of days.
