Every O.G., regardless of how accomplished or talented he or she is, needs a lesson in technology every now and then. New smartphones and gadgets come out nearly every week—same goes with these social media apps that keep celebrities connected to their fans. So grown folk need a few tutorials on how everything works fairly often.
For Denzel Washington, that tutorial came Wednesday night at an NBA game. He ran into Tyrese and Drake and tried to take a picture with them, but apparently he didn't know how to work the camera on his smartphone.
A few photos captured Tyrese and Drake schooling Washington on how to work it. Drake and Tyrese think it's all hilarious. They're seen laughing their behinds off, and Washington was a good sport, too. Tyrese posted a video on Instagram in which Washington confessed to the tech lesson.
"And yes, I didn't know how to run the phone," Washington said, laughing. "I didn't know how to run the camera."
In Drake's Instagram post about the incident, he described an opportunity he had years ago to take a photo with Washington outside a theater in New York City where Washington was performing, but he froze up. And now here he is, years later, chopping it up with one of the greatest actors of all time.
" … I was convinced I missed the chance to freeze a moment with one of the biggest inspirations in my life. Now [it's] the end of 2015 and here is a picture of me and Tyrese trying to help Denzel work his phone. Life is a wonderful thing when you are living right. Grateful for this moment," Drake wrote.
Started from the bottom, now they're here.
