Morgan Freeman, Alan Arkin and Michael Caine star in Zach Braff’s latest film, Going in Style, in which they all play desperate old men who rob a bank because their retirement funds have been squandered. The movie is exactly what it sounds like: curmudgeonly (but still somehow sweet) old men engaging in all kinds of shenanigans in order to get the money that rightfully belongs to them.
The Root got the chance to sit down with the three legendary stars of the movie as well as the director, Braff, and another co-star, the iconic Ann-Margret, to chat about their first big purchases ever (Freeman bought a boat ... cash!). We even convinced them all to do impressions of one another. Braff’s Morgan Freeman is amazing, but Caine might have him beat. Check out the video above!
