A video showing a 25-year-old California woman passed out in her stopped car on a busy interstate has gone viral.

According to UPI, "Paul Anderegg spotted the car stopped in the middle of Interstate 805 northbound in San Diego early Friday, and he pulled over to the side of the road."

Anderegg tried to wake the woman by banging on the window as cars whizzed by, but she didn't move, authorities said. Anderegg called 911 and police arrived on the scene. California Highway Patrol Officer Sergio Flores can be seen on the video banging on the woman's window trying to get her to wake up. Finally, CHP Officer Jake Sanchez uses his flashlight to break the window, which rouses the woman, identified as Amber Dlaine McKinney Morgan. She takes her foot off the brake and the car rolls a few feet before she puts the car in park.

Morgan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and police added that a "large bottle of alcohol and other drinks were seized from Morgan's car," according to UPI.

"You can see cars are going by 65, 70, even 80 miles an hour. Any impact … and that was very close," Sanchez told CNN Wire.
