BuzzFeed recently released the video "27 Questions Black People Have for Black People," and black folks who saw it were overwhelmingly offended. In it, several black people asked things like, "If my dab is on fleek, am I lit?" and "Do you really believe black is beautiful, or is that something you say just to sound cool?" And that's not even the worst of the questions.

We've all reluctantly shared the video with our friends, attached with messages of disappointment at a Web destination that is typically provocative, funny and informative. This time, however, the Internet giant fell flat, alienating many of its black viewers.

So we at The Root decided to create our own "27 Questions" video, but we filled it with questions that black people actually ask other black people. From grad-school choices to Beyoncé-concert concerns, here are some real questions black people ask other black people.
