Jessica Albitz didn't like the way Alice Keener, who works at the Jackson Hewitt stall inside a La Porte, Texas, Wal-Mart, had spoken to her and her husband, who had come to get their taxes prepared. So Albitz returned to the store, and it didn't take long for things to go south.
According to Click 2 Houston, Albitz confronted Keener, who didn't take kindly to being approached at her job. Video footage appears to show Albitz head-butting Keener, who reacts by grabbing Albitz by the hair and slamming her head into a table a few times before dragging her to the floor. The two women roll around for a bit before a male customer eventually pulls them apart.
"You better get her," Keener can be heard saying on the footage. "She come in messing with me. I'm at work."
Albitz told a news station that she didn't regret the altercation and, in fact, hoped that she inflicted some damage. "I hope I broke her nose. I hope she has two black eyes, and I hope she remembers me for the rest of her life," Albitz later told Click 2 Houston.
According to Click 2 Houston, "neither of the women were charged with a crime after the violent brawl, but Kenner has been put on administrative leave." And, the news site notes, Keener could lose her job, which she has had for 15 years. Jackson Hewitt told the news site that it is still investigating the matter.
For her role in the altercation, Albitz has been banned for life from the Wal-Mart store, which she says is fine with her.
"I was willing to take the charges," Albitz told the news station. "If I were to have charges taken, I would've accepted that. For the remainder of my life, I am no longer allowed to go to Wal-Mart on Spencer Highway."
