It was the hug seen around the internet! Busy promoting her new film “Divorce In The Black,” Meagan Good was center stage as she reunited with Michael Ealy at a Los Angeles event this week. The viral reunion moment was a little too close for comfort for some, especially in front of Good’s boyfriend Jonathan Majors.
Now, the full clip of the interaction has hit the internet, revealing that Ealy did in fact greet Majors before lifting her off her feet.
As The Root reported, the internet had plenty to say about Ealy, with many questioning his behavior. Well, now that the full context is on display on the internet, people are once again taking to social media with their opinions on the matter, with some people writing they “hate the internet” for jumping to conclusions so quickly.
One writer wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), “This Michael Ealy, Jonathan Majors, Meagan Good thing is so annoying because in the full video Michael Ely hugged Jonathan Majors BEFORE he hugged Meagan. SMH. I hate the internet.”
Another user suggested that many owe Ealy an apology for the way they assumed the worst when the clip first hit the web. They wrote on X, “Ok I went and found the FULL video of the Jonathan majors x Michael Ealy x Meagan Good hug moment .. Michael hugs Jonathan 1st yall. we owe him an apology.”
