SZA fans can rejoice: the R&B superstar has already given a preview of what her next two albums are going to sound like. Although, it may not be what you expect.

Over the weekend, the “SOS” singer wrote in a post on X, “To fulfill my last 2 album requirements I think I just wanna make peaceful children’s music n get outta here. Then go be a farmer n donate the produce to underserved communities.”

It’s hard to tell how serious SZA is being, considering she’s made proclamations like this one before and not followed through on them. In August 2024, after performing at the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival in Montreal, she wrote in a tweet, “Yesterday was my last show for a while . Finally bout to get my life together thank u God.”

Four months later, she would announce a joint North American stadium tour with Kendrick Lamar.

Not to mention, SZA has a bevy of new songs to perform following the release of “SOS Deluxe: LANA,” which added 15 new songs to her 2022 studio album, including hit records like “30 for 30,” “BMF,” “Scorsese Baby Daddy,” and “Drive.”

Last month, the “Ctrl” singer also parted ways with her longtime manager, TDE President Terrence “Punch” Henderson, responding to a fan account’s post about the split, she wrote, “Nothing to celebrate. The end of an era. I wish him the best. Whatever his choices may be,” according to Rolling Stone.

Furthermore, she is also set to star in her first film, “One of Them Days,” alongside Keke Palmer. The film is a buddy comedy produced by Issa Rae and is set to release in theaters on January 17.
