Katt Williams has his hand in everything nowadays. Not only has he been the most talked about comedian over the last two weeks, but now he has his sights set on the music industry with alleged plans of releasing a new 2Pac album.

Yes, you read that correctly: a new album with never-heard before songs from the iconic rapper 2Pac.

On the premiere episode of Suge Knight’s “Collect Call” podcast, (which he records from prison) the former Death Row Records boss asked Katt, “What you got going on with some of those unreleases with ‘Pac. Shit, you got me excited. The different people you said you’re gonna put on there. I don’t wanna let the cat out the bag but it’s unbelievable.”

While Katt didn’t reveal too much about the posthumous album, he did say that “only the best” would be featured on it, including one huge Black celeb.

Suge spoiled the surprise by asking Katt, “I heard Cardi B on the project with you, is that true?”

“Absolutely,” Katt said in response.

Knight, who worked closely with Pac in the mid-90s claimed, “I always say she’s the female version of 2Pac.” Really? In a Nicki Minaj world?

This alleged album that Katt is working on would be the first posthumous 2pac release since “Pac’s Life,” which was released in 2006.

In total there have been seven posthumously released Pac albums, (if we’re including “Still I Rise”). Out of all of them, this may be the most shocking, behind only “Loyal to the Game,” which was produced by Eminem and released in 2004.

Katt even took a shot at that album, saying that it was the only Pac project that was a disappointment.

Even so, the most surprising revelation that came from the conversation was that Suge thinks Cardi B is the “female version of 2pac.”

In any case, if she really is going to be featured on a posthumous 2pac album (which she hasn’t confirmed), it’ll be an interesting listen, to say the least.
