Diddy has finally returned to social media after several weeks of silence to wish his “soul mate” a happy heavenly birthday.

On Friday, Dec. 15, the Bad Boy Records mogul shared a throwback photo to Instagram that shows him kissing ex-girlfriend Kim Porter on the cheek. Diddy captioned the pic with, “We miss you so much Kim!” adding, “Happy Birthday Beautiful! Love forever.”

In September, Diddy released his fifth studio album, “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” working with legendary musicians such as Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Timberland and Babyface on what he called a “love letter to Kim.” But the “Love” rapper’s recent legal troubles have clouded the message.

Mother to Diddy’s son Christian Combs and twin daughters Jessie and D’lila Combs, Porter passed away Nov. 15, 2018, at the age of 47 after a short illness that was determined be lobar pneumonia.

Porter also has a son, Quincy, with singer Al B. Sure, who has been sharing some cryptic messages as of late amid Diddy’s mounting scandals. She would have been 53 on her birthday this year.

Diddy has since settled out of court, under undisclosed circumstances, with ex-girlfriend Cassie after she filed a $30 million-federal lawsuit alleging long-term emotional and physical abuse.

In a newer federal lawsuit filed Wednesday, Dec. 6, an unnamed woman claims Diddy flew her out to New York City and subjected her to gang rape when she was 17 years old. The new lawsuit prompted Diddy to release a statement on social media in which he declared “enough is enough.”

“Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday,” he wrote. “I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

As more bad behavior from the music industry’s “bad boys” continues to come to light, the Black community might be in the midst of its own version of #MeToo.
