Dream Kardashian was born into one of the most famous families on the planet, making her, by default, one of the most recognizable second-graders around. It also doesn’t hurt that the seven-year-old daughter of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna is absolutely adorable. Dream, who launched her official Instagram account earlier this month, has already racked up over 731,000 followers. She also showed up at New York Fashion Week, walking the runway in the Zeus & Lexi Kids show.

But even in a family full of influencers, Dream (like most people) has insecurities. Thankfully, she has a loving mom there to help build her up every step of the way.

In a September 29 TikTok video, Chyna is seen styling Dream’s hair into a high ponytail. While Dream looks at her reflection in the mirror, she seems to be unhappy about the size of her forehead. Mom, noticing her daughter’s uneasiness, does her best to help ease her anxiety and reassure her that she is perfect just as she is.

“Dream, your forehead is not big. You have the cutest head shape,” Chyna is heard telling her daughter in the video. “Four fingers is perfect. If you had two hands, you still would be cute.”

The video has received over 575,000 likes so far, and viewers are praising Chyna for the powerfully positive message she is sharing with her daughter in the comments.

“They notice insecurities sooo early. It’s so good to reassure them every chance you get,” wrote one commenter.

Other viewers commented on the way Chyna’s nurturing is helping her heal from the rocky relationship she’s had with her own mother, Shalana Jones-Hunter (aka Tokyo Toni) over the years. Hunter has said some incredibly hurtful things about her daughter publicly, including calling her “a mistake” and a “statutory rape baby” on Instagram back in 2018.

“The only thing I can do as a daughter is honestly just love her, ‘cause she’s still my mom at the very end of the day,” she told Hollywood Unlocked in a 2023 interview. “I see it as very hurtful, you know. But I don’t take it to heart. I just pray about it and give it to God,”

“She is healing her inner child too.” posted a commenter on Chyna’s TikTok video. “I love seeing this side of her. She’s breaking the chains, and that’s beautiful.”
