A video featuring California Rep. Maxine Waters is making its way around the Internet. The video, which was shot in Detroit, the second stop of the Congressional Black Caucus' jobs tour, demonstrates the precarious balance for elected officials seeking to support the president while critiquing his performance on jobs.
Waters candidly admits that many Obama supporters in the black community lash out at politicians who criticize the president, which keeps members of the CBC from coming out harshly against him. Our question is, if you are an elected official, shouldn't you be willing to take the heat if it means more jobs for your constituents? Check out the video and let us know what you think.
