Don't worry—not at Desiree Rogers' spoken word jam last night.

If we thought black comics would forget how to be funny now that we have a black president, boy were we wrong. (See Sykes, Wanda and Foxx, Jamie.) And now, enter Alphacat, one of YouTube’s most viewed black comedians, whom The Root featured last week in our black vlogger roundup. He’s recently produced this glossy spoof of Jamie Foxx’s “Blame It”, filled with “cameos” from Rod Blagojevich, Vice President Joe Biden, Sarah Palin, Michelle Obama and the president himself. Watch:

Check the chorus:

Blame it on the news, tax payer blues

Blame it on the loans, now your home’s gone

Blame it on the e-e-e-e-e-con-omy

Blame it on the e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e…

Blame it on Bush, blame it on Cheney

I’m not pointin’ blame, well, OK, maybe

Blame it on the e-e-e-e-e-con-omy

Blame it on the e-e-e-e-e-e-e…

Who said topical humor was dead? At 3:00, the first lady makes her rapping debut:

People taken shots at my clothes

I want you to know

That shouldn’t be the focus

But I do look fly though

Best part: In the last few seconds, President Obama is caught dancing, just having a good time with the crowd, and the first lady gives him “the eye.” You know, the “it’s getting late, time to roll out” eye. True to form: He smooths out his jacket, straightens up, and follows her off-screen. Even the fake Michelle doesn’t play.
