At a Los Angeles fundraiser for Obama on Monday night, a man (who reportedly paid between $250 and $10,000 for the opportunity) positioned himself in front of the stage and began shouting just after the president's remarks began.
The heckler reportedly called him "Antichrist" and then proclaimed, "The Christian God is the one and only true, living God, the creator of Heaven and the Universe," and, "Jesus Christ is God."
It's hilarious and sad at the same time that, thanks to his critics on the right, the president is all too familiar with inappropriate outbursts and outrageous allegations against him. Thus, he was entirely unfazed by the interruption. After the crowd drowned out the heckler with chants of "Four more years!" Obama calmly noted that he actually agreed with the point about Jesus, and made sure the guy didn't leave his jacket behind when he was escorted out.
