CNN’s Don Lemon delivered a “No Talking Points” segment that illuminated Michele Bachmann’s overreliance on talking points and lauded Sarah Palin for her candor.

In this clip, Lemon pieces together her sound bites from Sunday talk shows to make his point (think “I’ve been at the tip of the spear” and “We got a punch in the gut,” and similar phrases, repeated three times each). Interestingly, Lemon uses Palin as an example of a candidate who’s more authentic.
Oh, and yes, he was “pushed and jostled” by Bachmann’s husband in Iowa, and he says that behavior is an indication of the way the campaign could conduct business if she’s elected.
