If you read our interview with Alvin Greene, you probably got the sense that South Carolina's Democratic Senate nominee isn't quite ready for prime time. Still, in all his painful awkwardness, he remains defiant against calls for him to leave the race over felony obscenity charges. In an interview last night on MSNBC's Countdown With Keith Olbermann, the Army vet insists that he didn't win the June 8 primary by accident: "Sixty percent of the vote is not luck. That's a decisive wins (sic)." he said. He also warned against believing Tweets made in his name ("There are some false sites out there that I'm not operating.") and when asked if he is a GOP plant in the race, he replied, "I've always been a Democrat and I still will be a Democrat in the future, and support Democrats."
