The Huffington Post reports that tennis' star sisters, Venus and Serena Williams, who have 20 Grand Slam singles titles between them, declined to say on Thursday when they will compete next. They've both been sidelined for months, and fans are wondering whether they'll be at the French Open. The tournament begins May 22.

Venus says they "definitely want to be there" and that they're taking things "week by week, evaluating, and the good part is we both get better every week." But there was no commitment to a return date.

Venus hasn't played since January because of a hip injury. Serena has been out since July with a series of physical problems.

On Thursday, both sisters offered coaching tips and playing points against students at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center to help celebrate the center's 10th anniversary. We hope these two are back on the circuit soon. But even though they're not competing professionally right now, it's nice to see they aren't wasting their time, either.
