According to the New York Post, Stivianoโ€”hidden behind her now-trademark visor and surrounded by an entourage wearing hats emblazoned with her nameโ€”told a group of photographers that one day sheโ€™d be commander in chief.ย

โ€œOne day, I will become president of the United States of America. And I will change the legislation and laws,โ€ she said in the video taken in Los Angeles, according to the Post. โ€œModern-day history. Civil rights movement.โ€

When one photographer told her that she was โ€œbigger than Angelina Jolie,โ€ she readily agreed, although with some modesty. โ€œJust today, just today, guys,โ€ she said.

Although she has been called the 80-year-old Sterlingโ€™s girlfriend, Stiviano has stated that she was his archivist and that her relationship with the team owner has always been professional.

Stivianoโ€™s lawyer Mac Nehoray said that his client did not make the now-famous recordings public but that they were recorded by โ€œmutual agreementโ€ because he tended to forget sometimes. According to the Post, he and Stiviano do โ€œhave an ideaโ€ who leaked the incriminating tapesโ€”in which Sterling could be heard telling the half-black Stiviano not to photograph herself with black people or bring them to the Clippers gamesโ€”but he wouldnโ€™t say anything more.
