“Hate“ is a strong word. It should only be used for intense situations like brussels sprouts, Donald Trump and the cancellation of NBC's The Black Donnellys. In this vein, I say that I do not hate Danielle Young, aka Patti LaDanielle, aka Ms. Patti Patti. But she's close. She's kind of like broccoli, Mike Pence and ABC's cancellation of The Family.
I'm not super upset over the second list, but I'm also not super cool with it.
Here is what you have to understand about my and Patti LaDanielle's dynamic: She's like the sister I never wanted but have to play with because Mom doesn't want to be interrupted while she's watching her shows. As such, I can't begin to tell you how many times we have both stormed off the set (there is no set) proclaiming that we will never do this show again! It's amazing that we've made it this far, and we have one person to thank for it: Quinta B.
Danielle loves Quinta B. Not just because she super funny and talented, but because she's fearless. She couldn't wait to speak with Quinta B. this week, and so I was forced to put aside my strong dislike for Danielle (Quinta still noticed and commented on our dynamic) and soldier through the episode, and I'm glad I did.
Quinta spoke with us about perseverance; how her Milly Rock around the world came to be; how she quit Apple not once, but twice; and how crab dinners made her broke, which happens to be the name of her new web series on YouTube Red (of course we discussed this, too).
So, without further ado, we give you the hilarious Quinta B. Enjoy!
