Will the feud between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B ever end? Likely not anytime soon. Weeks after the pair’s headline-making confrontation during New York Fashion Week, this week it was announced that Cardi is releasing a single with Meek Mill (also known as Minaj’s ex). And now it appears Minaj is planning to cash in on the duo’s dustup as well, releasing new merch that seemingly references Cardi’s angry Instagram post following the incident.
“I’ve let a lot of shit slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, fuck up the way I eat!” the post read, in part. In this instance, “bags” referred to the bags of money Cardi felt Minaj had been attempting to interfere with.
To the best of our knowledge, Minaj never responded to the message directly, but her latest merch drop feels a bit like, well, a mic drop.
Minaj’s new collection, which was released on Thursday night and includes backpacks, shirts and jackets, are all sarcastically labeled “Nicki stopped my bag.”
Again, no direct comment from Minaj about the meaning behind the collection—and she disabled comments on a promotional IG post as well. But it’s admittedly the kind of petty many know (and love) the rapper for; after all, Minaj is nothing if not provocative.
No comment from Cardi, whose bags don’t seem to have stopped in the least. Maybe someday, this feud finally will.
